Once PEONIES arrive..

These flowers will arrive in different stages of blooming; from tightly closed buds to blooms that are cracking open. Depending on the stage of bloom, the peonies require different flower care.

For a full bloomed look:

  1. Re cut the stems every day- leave them as short as you can

  2. Put them in vases/buckets of warm water: 100- 110 F aprox. Make sure the water you use is no warmer than 110 degrees — hot water will damage the stems, minimizing the peony’s vase life.

  3. Store Peonies in a warm room

    For a compact bloom look:

    1. Cut the stems Put Peonies is cool water

    2. Put Peonies into the refrigerator or at least in a cool room.
